Teutonia, Brazil - Kevin Reimer has gone from having an outside chance of competing to being the favorite to win his third consecutive IGSA World Championship. The reigning IGSA World Cup Series Champion suffered a serious leg injury back in June and has missed all of this years' World Cup races.

Teutonia, Brazil - Practice and the first qualifying run of the 2011 Malarrara IGSA World Championships got underway today in Teutonia, Brazil. In his first appearance of the season after sustaining a serious leg injury in a pre-season race, Kevin Reimer took everyone by surprise by storming to the number one position in today’s first qualifying run.
