Padova, Italy- Martin Siegrist (SUI) survived a crash filled afternoon to win the Padova Grand Prix. Siegrist won by taking the lead early in each of his heats and riding out front fast and precisely to stay out of the chaos that was occurring behind him all day.

Padova, Italy- Martin Siegrist (SUI) became the number one qualifier for tomorrow’s Padova Grand Prix when he turned in a time of 1:58.276 on the highly technical Teolo course. Yesterday’s number two qualifier Louis Pilloni (USA) lowered his time by more than a full second to retain the number two spot at 1:59.092. Ramon Konigshausen (SUI) achieved his best ever qualifying performance in a World Cup race to finish third.
