Grabouw, South Afica- After a one week delay, practice and qualifying finally got underway for the High Rising Downhill Extreme at the Houwteq complex. In the Downhill Skateboarding, Richard Dweza scorched through to first place.

The organizers of the High Rising Downhill Extreme scheduled for May 2-3 have decided to postpone the event for one week due to a very poor weather forecast. The event has been rescheduled for May 9-10.
