Picton, Canada- Patrick Switzer continued his dominant form by winning this weekend's Prince Edward County Gravity Festival in Picton, Canada.
Switzer simply left all the skaters in his wake by first posting the fastest time in both of Saturday's qualifying runs and then winning all five of his heat races in convincing form enroute to his second consecutive Picton win. He has now won all six of the IGSA sanctioned races that he's entered in 2011.
Niko Desmarais continued to show the strong form he demonstrated two weeks ago in Calgary by finishing in second place. The Montreal native does not seem to have lost any of the speed he posessed in previous years even though he has raced sparingly in the past few years. Third place went to virtually unknown Mike Jakubiec from Toronto. After posting the second fastest qualifying time on Saturday, he proved his performance was no fluke with his solid podium finish. Luke Mellow finished fourth while Maxime Garant-Rousseau won the Consolation Final to claim fifth place.
