Montreux, Switzerland -The typical alpine town of Montreux is welcoming a continental IGSA race this weekend, just a mile away from the track of the world famous freeride, the Bukolik, that will not happen this year because of work planned on the funicular that brings the riders at the top of the Hill.
The road is quite steep, 2, 4 km long, 4 meters wide, with huge hairpins after fast schuss part. This will be a terriffic playground to see the best european riders, and a few athletes from all over the world including USA, Canada, Peru, South Africa.
On Saturday, you will have the ability to follow the qualification session thanks to a live broadcas. We will be using RFID Chips and will allow a maximum of timed qualification runs. This will be a premiere, and we are really looking forward to see how it affects our races.
More information and results tonight, after the qualification session.
