Racing Starts Today!!!
Vernon, Canada - Racers have been pouring in all day and the work crews have been at it non-stop to ensure everything is ready for the start of tomorrow's Vernon DH 7. Organizer Mischo Erban has been work overtime to ensure everythng is set for round #1 of the 2011 IGSA North American Downhill Series.
Racers from all over North America and around the world will be battling it out this weekend for their share of the $2000 cash purse. The race is likely to be a preview of the season to come with many of the sports top racers in attendence. Some of the racers scheduled to compete include current IGSA #2 ranked Patrick Switzer, Australian Jackson Shapiera and of course 2009 IGSA World Cup Series Champion Mischo Erban.
Vernon is a unique course since the entire race takes place within a residential neighborhood. We'll have full race reports here at IGSAworldcup.com all weekend so you won't miss any of the action.
